Students spend 20 hours per week, under supervision, as a teacher aide in primary grade classroom, 8 or 16 weeks; course includes 2 hour weekly seminar. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Completion of all Child Development and Elementary Education courses and consent of Department Chairperson; may not be taken concurrently with Education 260. 2 lecture and 20 lab hours per week. 3 or 6 credit hours.
