An interdisciplinary survey of significant intellectual and artistic achievements of non Western cultures through selected works of literature, philosophy, visual art, music and other performing arts. This course transfers as Illinois Articulation Initiative general education generic course numbered HF 94N: Non Western Humanities. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: English 101 placement or Consent of Department Chairperson. 150 minutes per week. 3 credit hours.
