Advanced study of electronic publishing and laser printing systems. Instruction on the Compugraphic Integrator 12, CG 8400 and EP 400 (Hewlett Packard) laser printer. Emphasis is placed on composition and storage on hard and floppy disks. Typesetting functions such as the use of pre programmable user defined keys, tabbing and typographic refinements. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
