The microscopic structure and development of types of cells, tissues, and organs of the human body. Also given is a survey of the elements of embryology emphasizing the area of the head and neck, as related to the development of the dental arches, salivary glands, buccal mucosa, pharynx, and tongue, and in cooperating the oral histology of the teeth and gingivae.
