This course is designed to familiarize the student with the basic procedures of analog and digital image capture. This course explores the use of flat bed scanners and digital cameras as related to graphic communication processes. Also included is the student of basic densitometry, litho photography and film processing. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. 2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
