This course is a project in WAN design. The class will include an overview of WAN technologies and WAN configurations on a Cisco router. The second part of the class involves the design, implementation, configuration and demonstration of a fully functional enterprise intranet including HTTP, FTP, NNTP, and e mail services. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Lab fee is required. Prerequr's1te: Internetworking III (165 221) or the equivalent of Consent of Department Chairperson. 2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 3 credit hours.
