Prerequisite: PY 101 This course will serve as an internship for the human services and mental health fields. The educational objective will be to allow the student opportunity to integrate academic learning with practice. The intern will complete the work with a counselor, therapist, or professional in a local human services institution or program. The practicum's application will be for multicultural and cross-cultural perspective as much as possible. The student will be required to keep a journal of activities, thoughts, feelings, concerns, positive impressions and ideas for improvements for their places of internship.
