This course is designed to present basic cardiopulmonary assessment focusing upon the adult respiratory anatomy and physiology, system integration which allows for maintenance of and homeostasis. Also included is the study of oxygenation, lung mechanics and ventilation, pulmonary function testing, electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation and arterial blood gases (ABG) interpretation. Prerequisites: MATH0098 or appropriate Math assessment score.
