Prerequisite: A score of 16 on the Reading portion of the Enhanced ACT or REA 1013 with a grade of "C" or better.A studio course designed to familiarize the student with the fundamental elements of art and develop in the student a visual literacy. Students work in a variety of black and white and color media emphasizing design and composition. Recommended for elementary education majors or anyone who desires to learn basic media techniques. Five lecture/studio hours per week.
