Prerequisite: Acceptance and enrollment in the PRCC Associate Degree Nursing program and membership in the Student Nurses Association (SNA). This course provides opportunities to assist the nursing student to gain insight into the various professional roles and responsibilities expected of nurses. Also, this course provides the nursing student with the opportunity to engage in community activities, which is a value at the core of the nursing profession. One lecture hour per week.
