Prerequisites: CHT 1115 An in-depth study of the supporting structures of the teeth is covered in the course. Also included is a full clinical and theoretical understanding of their conditions in good health as well as their reaction to bacterial invasion in disease of varying etiology. The theory of clinical application to the management of the advanced periodontal patient to maintain a healthy and functional dental apparatus is also studied. Three lecture hours per week.
