Prerequisite: A score of 16 on the Reading portion of the Enhanced ACT or REA 1013 with a grade of "C" or better.This course is designed to help students develop more effective and efficient study skills and attitudes which are needed in order to be successful in college. Emphasis is placed on major study aids and process, lecture/listening skills, note taking, reading techniques, and test taking strategies. Reading, writing, and mathematics across the curriculum, as well as critical thinking, will be stressed throughout this course. Three lecture hours per week.
