Prerequisites: EET 1192, EET 1114 This is the first of two courses that introduces the student to the electrical, electronic, and fluid power devices and components that are utilized in flexible automated manufacturing systems. Principles of solid state devices and digital logic are explained. Additionally, devices such as power supplies, operational amplifiers, motors, servos, transducers, mechanical drives, etc., are studied. Three lecture and two lab hours per week.
