2 hrs., 2 credits Pre-requisite: MA-C 103 This course is designed as a 90 clock hour practicum to provide students with opportunities in both a supervised campus lab setting and nursing home setting to administer approved medications to clients. Students are expected to apply theoretical concepts and principles learned in MA-C 103 when administering approved medications to assigned nursing home clients. Upon successful completion of this course as well as the co-requisite theory course, students are eligible to take the written state of Arkansas Medication Assistant Certification Exam.
