Topics covered include using SQL Enterprise Manager and SQL Query Analyzer to create databases and database files, create data types and tables, plan, create and optimize indexes, implement data integrity with constraints, triggers and schemas, implementing views, stored procedures and functions, managing database code and using the Service broker to build a messagebased solution. Transact-SQL is covered in detail throughout the semester.
