4 hrs. lec., 4 credits Prerequisites: NG 113, 143, EH 113, MS 1123 or 123, PSY 213 BY 154, 164, 224 Co-requisites: NG 134, 123, EH 123 The focus is on the provision of therapeutic interventions and supportive nursing behaviors to meet an individual's single, overt, unmet need of comfort, activity, self-esteem, and urinary elimination. Emphasis is placed on adult clients but includes selected pediatric clients with alterations in urinary elimination.
