Addresses seeing, experiencing and appreciating the urban world as a reflection of human interaction with the socio-political and physical environment, such as with architecture, gardens, fountains, malls and public spaces. Examines how cities express the values, technology, geography and economic structure of many cultures in the light of aesthetic, historic, and critical factors. The Introduction to Art series 101, 102, 103 may be taken in any order. Recommended: ART 102 and ART 103. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores.
