Emphasizes safe working environments targeting people who have compliance and training responsibilities. Covers how to establish employee protection programs and to inform and train employees properly. Includes intro to OSHA, general safety and health provision, Hazcom, health hazards in construction, stairways and ladders, motor vehicles, materials handling, hand and power tools, scaffolding, fire protection, excavations, confined space entry, fall protection, personal protective and lifesaving equipment and electrical safety. Awards a 30 hour OSHA safety card upon successful completion of course. This class can be used towards Continuing Education Units for Oregon State electrical licensing purposes.
