Topics covered change with current events and instructor interest and may include: International trade and finance; energy and resource economics; poverty, discrimination, and income distribution in national economies and the global economy; economic development; financial market instability; environmental and sustainability issues; government and central bank policies and competing ideologies; other current or relevant topics. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115, and MTH 95 or equivalent placement test scores, and EC 200 or EC 201 or EC 202.
