Covers the material of FR 101 and FR 102 in an accelerated format. Stresses the development of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and cultural awareness through a communicative approach. Primary emphasis on the student's active use of the language. Recommended to the highly motivated student. Proficiency target level: Intermediate low; the successful student will be able to handle a limited number of interactive social situations. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores.
