Introduction to heat load calculations for residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Included are air distribution, duct sizing, selection of grills and registers, types of fans, air velocity, and fan performance. Introduction is provided to air testing instruments and computer usage. (2 hr lecture, 4 hr lab)
