This course exposes students to several live theatrical productions in the Portland area with the purpose of enriching the understanding and appreciation of the theatrical event. Students will attend productions, write critiques and learn to appreciate the production from the viewpoints of the actors, directors, playwrights, designers and audience. Also, a brief history of the theatre is covered. Prerequisites: WR 115 and RD 115 or equivalent placement test scores.
