This course is designed to orient students who are Licensed Practical Nurses articulating into the ADN level of the nursing program. Emphasis is placed on the 1) philosophy, organizing framework, purpose, outcomes, and objectives of the nursing program; 2) nursing process; 3) Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs; 4) clinical evaluation, 5) computerized testing; 6) dosage calculation check-off passed at 100%; and 7) skills review. (Prerequisite: Kansas LPN licensure and admission to the program)
