This is an introductory level course for students interested in employment in the oil and gas industry. Floorhand training for rotary drilling rigs as well as service rigs will be emphasized. Major topics within the course include, but not limited to, General Safety, Basic Tools and Equipment Use and Operation, Rigging, Swabbing, Tubing Servicing, and Terms and Definitions Used Within the Industry. Students who successfully complete the course work may be eligible for "Rig Pass" certification. Prerequisite: None
