1 CR. (2 LBA) PRQ: PED 110, PED 111, PED 210. Focuses on advanced instruction designed for individuals interested in attaining a high level of total fitness. Includes an individual fitness evaluation, computerized analysis of results, and a prescribed exercise program. Focuses on the basic components of fitness including flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and body composition. The primary mode of training is Aerobic Circuit Training. The circuit training is supplemented with additional work on the specialized weight machines, dumbbells, treadmills, rowers, stair climbers, cross trainers, nordic track, versa climbers, and running track found in the Fitness Center.
