An introduction to respiratory therapy, this course includes infection control and sterilization, physical assessment and chart review, radiologic assessment of the chest, gas physics, medical gas therapy and delivery systems, humidity and aerosol therapy, IPPB, incentive spirometry and coughing techniques, chest physiotherapy, manual resuscitators, and CPR. Lab fee $7.00. Permission of Program Director required.
