Prerequisite: ATEC 113 Aviation Maintenance Technology - Electricity. Course may be waived with a valid Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration certificate The student will read, understand, and perform the following: aircraft drawings, weight and balance, fluid lines and fittings, materials, and processes, ground operation and servicing, cleaning and corrosion control, maintenance forms and records, maintenance publications, mechanic privileges and limitations. Laboratory experiences are an integral part of this course. This course will be offered though a technology center FAA accredited Aviation Maintenance Technology program.
