Prerequisite: ENGL 1113 English comp I; CJ 2343 criminal investigation This course focuses on the skills necessary for jobrelated and academic writing skills in law enforcement and criminal justice. Emphasis is placed upon writing narrative reports for incidents and fatality and nonfatality traffic accidents, search warrant affidavits and returns, memos, letters, short reports, proposals, resumes, and research papers. Writing assignments will be based upon work-related scenarios relevant to law enforcement.
