Prerequisite: Approval of instructor. Note: Course will not substitute for any Psychology course, including PSY 1113. This course is designed to increase the understanding and competency of setting goals, career assessment, and techniques that will be utilized in the job search and throughout a lifetime of employment. It also examines the world of work through topics including Skills Assessment, Information Integration, Career Goals, Job Search Techniques, Resumes, Interviewing Skills, and Development of the Career Portfolio.
