Prerequisite: ITEC 2513 Visual Programming or ITEC 2613 Computer Programming II This course explores the fundamental programming concepts needed to learn the JAVA programming language. Topics covered include methods, classes, arrays, stand-alone applications, GUI creation, using the abstract windowing toolkit, JAVA Applets, animations, sounds, and threads. To demonstrate mastery of the concepts, students will design, code, debug, and document web-based and other sample programs.
