3 hours credit (3 hours lecture) This course is designed primarily as a refresher course for those students who lack in basic skills and who need a review of the fundamentals. The content of this course includes the fundamental operations of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, ratio and proportion, statistics, applications for business and consumers, the metric system, rudimentary geometry, and introductory algebra.
