Various methods of pest control and their alternatives are discussed. Safe and responsible handling of crop protection products is stressed. Growth habits and identification of common weeds, insects, and diseases will be covered as well as the calibration of broadcast and band applicators. Students may take the test for their commercial or private applicator license upon completion of the course.
