(EST Module 33101, 33102) In order for technicians to install audio and other power limited audio visual equipment it is necessary for them to have a basic understanding of the electronic systems industry and the job of the electronic systems technician. They must also understand basic building anatomy, as well as the properties of the materials which go into basic building construction. This course explains the professional and ethical conduct expected of the systems installation technician as well as the codes, and standards they are required to comply with. Students in the course will study the common tools, materials, and methods used in common construction for residential and commercial buildings.
