Introduction to Agronomy may be taken concurrently with Crop Scouting. Identification of grass and broadleaf seedlings. Identification of the prominent insect pest of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Identification of herbicide injury symptoms and a review of nutrient deficiency symptoms; and weather-related crop injuries. Field scouting techniques will also be discussed.
