This class will consider how technology has changed the way we create and alter photographs and the opportunities they provide for the designer. Students will use different devices and technology to import their images including: digital cameras, scanners, clip art and Internet images. Assignments will use image altering software such as Adobe Photoshop. The course will be organized around a series of assigned projects and exercises involving print media as well as the opportunity for independent work.
