This course is a core course for the GPS/GIS technology program. Students will be assigned real world problems from a partnering business (ie. local farms, retail) to work on. Students will be required to identify the problems and develop recommendations using a GIS system. For instance, students may develop yield correlation maps based on soil nutrient levels, using a variety of interpolation methods.
