This course will prepare the EMT-BASIC to successfully complete the State EMT-B Skills refresher exam. Topics covered originated from the DOT EMT-B curriculum and include, but are not limited to, infectious disease protection, Haz Mat review, patient assessment - both medical and trauma, shock management, childbirth, fracture care, wound care, spinal immobiliation, CPR, defribillation, medical and environmental emergencies, and pediatric emergencies.
