This course covers advanced uses of the Perl programming language. Perl concepts are covered with an emphasis on the uses of Perl for the World Wide Web and database applications. Computer programmers, technicians and network administrators are given the skills they need to write advanced Perl programs. This is done through the use of textbook study, the use of the Perl language to write actual programs assigned by the instructor. Prerequisite: CST 1615
