This course provides the student with an understanding of the basic components and systems used in industrial electronics. The course will study DC motors, stepper motors, and AC motors. Industrial sensors are introduced including pressure, sound, light, color, magnetic, and temperature. Industrial controls circuitry is also covered. Prerequisite: ELEC 1512
