This course is designed for the non-business, non-economics major who wishes to further their knowledge of the economic problems facing the United States. A non-mathematical approach to topics including demand, supply, elasticity, perfect competition, pure monopoly, pollution, government regulation, taxes, unemployment, and inflation. This is a terminal course and should not be taken after ECON 206 & 207.
