This course, designed for the non-trade or technical majoring student, covers the use of mathematics with business applications. These topics are included: whole number arithmetic, operations relating to fractions and decimals, application of ratio, percent and proportions, and the interpretation of tables and graphs. The use of algebra in equations and formulas is studied along with simple and compound interest, discounts, mark-ups, present value, annuities, commissions, and depreciation.
