Field Experience will offer students the opportunity to perform massage therapy, including the use of relaxation, deep tissue techniques and adjunctive therapies, through both the Externship program outside of the classroom and in the college Student Massage Center under the supervision of the instructor. Experience in business and both the technical and interpersonal aspects of a massage therapy practice for either self-employment or employment in a spa or non-medical setting will be gained.
