A cooperative education experience in the field of law enforcement. Placement is made in a criminal justice agency with instruction in the operation of that agency. Classroom study emphasizes basic criminal justice theory and problems of power in interhuman relationships. Primary objectives are to provide the student with a combination of field experiences alternated with academic study to provide a more meaningful education. It is further intended that students will achieve the practical exposure necessary to make their field experience relative to their long-range occupational and/or scholastic goals.
