Whether a student is planning to be employed or self-employed, this essential course will help insure long-term success as a professional massage therapist. Students will benefit from topics in the areas of goal-setting, strategic planning, business development and ethics, financial management, target market analysis, valueadded services, and professional communications, as well as hands-on experience in designing business cards, brochures, promotional materials, and conducting market research and analysis studies. Students will also make on-site visits to a number of successful massage therapy practices in the area.
