This course covers determining proper magnetization techniques, evaluating indications, interpreting accept/reject standards, and implementing quality control techniques. Students review fundamental magnetic particle principles and techniques, develop and write procedures, and inspect welds, castings and machined components. Parts are evaluated according to relevant codes and/or standards. Prerequisites: NDT 1090, NDT 1501
