This course is a continuation of the nursing skills and techniques begun in Veterinary Nursing Procedures I. Techniques covered will include restraint, behavior, complete physical examination, wound management, and nursing care procedures for small animals. Emphasis will be placed on venipuncture, blood vessel catheterization, fluid therapy, and dental care procedures. Introduced topics will include First Aid, CPR, toxicology, and oncology.
