This clinical course provides the student an opportunity to work within the nursing process appropriate to the scope of practice for a practical nurse. Emphasis will be placed on using clinical reasoning and judgment to plan and provide safe, effective care. Students will interact with clients and families to build their communication skills. In addition, students will be expected to transfer knowledge and skills to the clinical setting. Students will evaluate their own clinical performance.
