This course is a continuation of the nursing skills and techniques begun in Veterinary Nursing Procedures I and II. Techniques covered will include restraint, behavior, and nursing care of large animals. Emphasis will include preventive medicine, large animal nutrition and feedstuffs, large animal medical and surgical procedures, large animal breeds, food safety, lameness examinations and conditions, and necropsy procedures.
