Prerequisites: BIO 2923, and BIO 2921 Basic skills, principles, and techniques for the staining, culturing, isolation, and identification of microorganisms of medical importance are emphasized in this course. Included are techniques used in determining the sensitivity of pathogenic bacteria to different antibiotic and other drugs. Three lecture and four lab hours per week.
