Credits: 4 A general overview of the field of Opticianry, intended to provide the student with a broad base for more advanced study. Included is the history of Opticianry, the visual sense, basic geometric optics, normal and abnormal vision, lens theory and design, frame design and principles of decentration, government regulations and licensure, as well as an introduction to the ophthalmic dispensing clinic.
